Patti Hall, M.A., CCC-SLP, received her Masters Degree in Communication Disorders from Bowling Green State University of Ohio in 1979 and has been in private practice in NE Portland since 1984. Patti has particular expertise working with toddlers and preschool aged children with delayed speech and language acquisition; articulation and language disorders; and craniofacial disorders/cleft lip and palate. She has a special interest in, and extensive experience working with, people of all ages with Down syndrome. Patti uses a multi sensory approach when working with her clients, consistently incorporating auditory, visual, and tactile treatment strategies to maximize the child’s learning potential. Patti feels it is both a joy and a privilege to work with all of her client’s families/caregivers. She works hard to provide families with specific strategies for home practice and greatly values parents/caregivers as members of their child’s treatment team.
Patti Hall is nationally certified by the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and licensed by the Oregon Speech Hearing Association (OSHA). She maintains active memberships in both ASHA and OSHA. She accepts third party reimbursement and is a preferred provider on a number of insurance plans. Patti Hall regularly participates in continuing education seminars to remain up to date on research and speech-language evaluation/therapy techniques in the pediatric population.
